Founded in 1989, Haynes Education Center was created
to serve as a companion to our Group Home Facility that would provide
schooling to the children of LeRoy Boys Home. Since then it has grown
to serve not only the children who live on our campus but the community
as a whole accepting children from 10 school districts around Southern
California.
Haynes
Education Center offers a curriculum taught by credentialed teachers in
a highly structured environment. Our staff is trained not only to address
the curriculum but also to deal with learning disabilities and behavioral
problems. These issues are addressed in the classroom environment to help
the children who attend deal with them in a constructive manner. To learn

In 2001, Teacher Rafael Deloera began a program that
he felt would both increase his students interest in their studies and
help them obtain the skills they would need to function in the workplace
after they graduate. This program, dubbed the School-to-Work Program ,
has achieved dramatic results. To learn more, Click
