Supported Employment Program

To produce real improvement in the lives of our children, Haynes Family of Programs provides concrete work experience to all of our teens. Our Supported Employment Program is highlighted by a job placement component. Teens complete web-based based job searches, online employment applications, and receive job coaching, learn interview techniques, and are instructed on appropriate workplace behavior and attire. As part of the program, all participants have the opportunity to work on campus or in the community in a variety of industries: technology, automotive, tourism, retail, service, etc.

Participants are paid by the program, which receives the support of grants as well as donations from individuals. By supplementing the cost of participating in the Supported Employment Program more employers are able to donate their time in training and mentoring students. The program also provides transportation to and from the job for each student working off campus.
