The Haynes Education Center provides a highly structured environment and a wide spectrum of academic resources. In addition to our fully equipped elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, the non-public school features three computer learning centers, a family resource center, a library with more than 8,000 titles, a music center, and occupational therapy lab, and secured play areas.
Six cottages housing 12 boys each provide family-like surroundings to 72 children as they make their sojourn within the child welfare system. Each cottage is equipped with a kitchen, dining area, and den, all of which typify the welcoming comforts of home.
Hallmarks of our tranquil campus are a recreation center, dining hall, swimming pool, an athletic field, indoor gymnasium, a health service facilities, private counseling suites, and administrative offices.
Separate from the other programs at the Center, and located at the east end of the campus, are our Transitional Living apartments. Three completely furnished apartments serve as a safety net for emancipated young men who have recently aged out of the foster care/group home system.
Haynes Family of Programs campus provides a nurturing, caring, and therapeutic environment where emotionally fragile and developmentally delayed children can flourish within a community of their peers.
