Mental Health Services

At Haynes Family of Programs, we know that children and families can face significant emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Trauma, abandonment, abuse, neglect, prolonged exposure to environmental stressors and violence, and/or limited access to needed care and resources can impact children and adolescents in very significant ways and contribute to difficulties with their overall ability to connect, learn, make decisions, and realize their strengths. To help understand and navigate these challenges, Haynes Family of Programs provides an array of mental/behavioral health services along a continuum of care, including Wraparound, Full Service Partnership (FSP), Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI), and Outpatient Care Services. We strive to increase access to care by navigating barriers to receiving appropriate services, and as such, mental health services are provided in a variety of settings based on individual need.

Consistent with the mental health Recovery Model and the Core Practice Model, our staff of highly trained therapists, Child and Family Specialists, Child and Family Team Facilitators, peer/parent advocates, psychiatrists, Coordinators, and Clinical Supervisors provide comprehensive and individualized services that include:

  • Screening
  • Assessment
  • Treatment Planning
  • Individual Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Skills-based Rehabilitation
  • Psychiatric Assessment and Evaluation
  • Medication Support Services
  • Targeted Case Management
  • Child and Family Team Meetings
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Discharge Planning
  • Coordination of Care across systems
  • We work closely with County Social Workers, Dependency Attorneys, Probation Officers, Public Defenders, Public and Non-public School staff, other Mental Health providers and teams, Psychiatric Hospitals, and community organizations to coordinate each client’s care and treatment planning. Our overarching mission is to strengthen the mind and spirit of children with emotional/behavioral challenges, special learning difficulties, and developmental needs by providing specialized programs in a nurturing, caring and therapeutic environment.
